(L.A.) Kelsie Co, 21, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kelsie Co.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Bupropion, Hydroxyzine and Escitalopram

Other Significant Condition: History of Anxiety and Depression

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:55 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

Escitalopram, sold under the brand names Lexapro and Cipralex, among others, is an antidepressant.
