Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Katrina Sarkissian.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Nipper.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Acute Nortriptyline Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:24 p.m.

Nortriptyline, sold under the brand name Aventyl, among others, is a tricyclic antidepressant.
