(L.A.) Katherine Saldivar, 42, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Katherine Saldivar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Acute Bronchopneumonia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:22 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

Local government authorities had the decedent’s body cremated on July 1. Her remains were never claimed.
