Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a riverbed.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Karen Habibi.

RIP KAREN ANNE HABIBI (June 8, 1963 – March 16, 2020)
The decedent went missing on a Monday in Acton, an unincorporated census-designated place in L.A. County, near the Antelope Valley.
She was found dead later that same day in a riverbed in Santa Clarita, a city in northwestern L.A. County.
Habibi was last seen around 8 a.m. on the 4100 block of 9th Street in Acton on Monday, according to a Nixle released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
She suffered from depression and her family was concerned for her well-being and was asking the public for help in locating her, the Nixle read.
