(L.A.) Kadence Cage, 15, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the teenage girl as Kadence Cage.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl

RIP KADENCE CAGE (June 28, 2009 – December 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:03 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-April 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
