RIP JUSTEN LONGOBARDI (February 3, 1999 – January 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:21 a.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as “Justin” on January 19. The spelling was changed to “Justen” on February 3.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Bupropion, sold under the brand name Wellbutrin among others, is an antidepressant primarily used to treat major depressive disorder and to support smoking cessation. It is also popular as an add-on medication in the cases of “incomplete response” to the first-line selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant.
