(L.A.) Julio Rivas Rivera, 24, Died on the 110 Fwy

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred on the Harborn Freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Julio Rivas Rivera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:15 a.m.

California Highway Patrol said the decedent’s motorcycle crashed into a semi-trailer near the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway at Sepulveda Boulevard in Torrance.

The South Bay region of Los Angeles County includes several cities such as Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach.
