(L.A.) Juan Martinez, 40, Died in a Backyard

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred in a backyard.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Martinez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

Other Significant Conditions: Toxicology Testing Is Positive for Alcohol and Methamphetamine

RIP JUAN MARTINEZ (February 17, 1984 – September 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:33 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 27, after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
