Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Barragan.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Obesity

Other Significant Condition: Cardiomegaly

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:37 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 2.
