Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jovon Williams.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Patterson.

Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 180 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Community-Acquired Pneumonia (Nasopharyngeal Swab Detected Adenovirus and Human Rhinovirus/Enterovirus)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-July. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent’s middle name could also be Lamonte.

As of July 17, the decedent’s body still has not been picked by a funeral home.
