Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the non-binary person as Josie Olgun.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects
Other Significant Condition: Laennec Cirrhosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:46 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published around August 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
LaΓ«nnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
* The above seems to be the county government’s fifth death notice where the gender of the person is recorded by the coroner’s office as non-binary. The first was Jose Morales in 2020.
