Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joshua Brooks.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP JOSHUA BROOKS (September 14, 1994 – December 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:02 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
