(L.A.) Joseph Vera, 34, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joseph Vera. Born in L.A. County.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent appears to have been of partly Thai descent.
