Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Ramos Mata.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 7.

The decedent was apparently a lifelong alcoholic. He was from Puebla, Mexico.
