Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male who passed away in the desert.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jose Ortiz-Torres.

Cause of Death: Stab Wounds of Torso

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Thursday morning at around 2:31 a.m.
The decedent’s body was found already decomposing inside a large blue drum in a remote desert area of Llano.
Deputies from Palmdale Station responded to the area near 195th Street East and Pearblossom Highway for a call about a body in a trash bin.
