(L.A.) Jason Evans, 44, Died in a Hotel/Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Evans.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Mitragynine

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
