(L.A.) Jose Lopez, 45, Died in a Sober Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred in a sober living facility.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Lopez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Chronic Alcohol Liver Disease

RIP JOSE LOPEZ (May 20, 1978 – April 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:52 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
