(L.A.) Jose Estrada, 46, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Estrada.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Alcoholic Liver Disease

RIP JOSE ESTRADA (August 24, 1978 – May 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
