Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male on a street in the Long Beach-Bellflower area.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Acosta.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:05 p.m.

The decedent was shot dead by sheriff’s deputies.
