(L.A.) Jorge Preciado, 9, Died on the 5 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a nine-year-old Latino male that occurred on the Golden State Freeway in Lebec, near the Kern County line.

The coroner’s office identified the boy as Jorge Preciado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

In connection with this incident, a 28-year-old male from Long Beach, also named Jorge Preciado, was arrested for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
