(L.A.) Jorge Figueroa, 46, Died From Cocaine Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Figueroa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Cocaine Effects

RIP JORGE FIGUEROA (June 22, 1978 – October 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 7:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
