Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Bonales.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Ruptured Esophageal Varices

Cause of Death C: Hepatic Cirrhosis

Cause of Death D: Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP JORGE BONALES (August 10, 1976 – February 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:36 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 8.
