(L.A.) Jordan Phillips, 23, Died on the I-5

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black male that occurred inside a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jordan Phillips of Bakersfield.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:10 p.m.
The government investigator had initially given the place of death as embankment, later changing it to vehicle.
This was a vehicular accident in Castaic in which three people died. They were in a 2001 Toyota Avalon that crashed south of Templin Highway at around 4:30 p.m.
Video description: A vehicle flew off the I-5 and down an embankment leaving three of the four occupants dead late Monday afternoon. A solo-vehicle crash was reported around 4:33 p.m. on the southbound I-5 at Templin Highway in the Castaic area.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found one vehicle over the side about 25 feet off the roadway and three people were declared deceased at the scene. One patient was transported by ambulance to Henry Mayo Hospital in critical condition.
