(L.A.) Joline Salas, 20, Died in the Desert

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in the desert.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Joline Salas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

The decedent was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

She had been driving a 2003 Acura sedan westbound on Avenue F at a high rate of speed with high winds in the area when her vehicle veered to the right. She lost control of the vehicle, and it traveled off the roadway and overturned.
