(L.A.) John Michael Ross, 29, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Ross of Altadena, California.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Meza.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:56 a.m.
The decedent was with Emalie Ortiz, 23, when they were killed in a fiery crash in Altadena.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at around 1:03 a.m. to 64 West Loma Alta and Loma View Drive where they found an overturned vehicle engulfed in flames.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were called to extract the victims from the wreckage.

California Highway Patrol officers who were called at around 1:00 a.m. to 64 West Loma Alta Drive found an overturned vehicle engulfed in flames.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced the man and woman dead at the scene.
According to the CHP, Ross was driving a 2019 Audi Q5 west on Loma Alta Drive “at an undetermined speed” when the SUV crashed into the rear of a parked 2008 Volvo XC90.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the collision.
