Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as John Almeria.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Intraoral Gunshot Wound

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Six suicides have already been confirmed for this year’s Valentine’s Day—all men—ages 42, 44, 56, 57, 60, and 60. Last year, and in 2024, there was only one each.
