Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joel Sanchez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Prostatitis with Staphylococcus aureus Bacteremia and Systemic Inflammatory Response

Cause of Death B: Advanced Liver Disease (Cirrhosis with Hepatic Steatosis)

Other Significant Condition: Recent Viral-Like Illness (Adenovirus Detected)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December.
