(L.A.) Jesse Black, 31, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jesse Black.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Codeine, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam

RIP JESSE BLACK (April 13, 1993 – December 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:12 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early April, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
