The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeffery McDonald.
Born in San Diego County. Mother’s maiden name is Pettus.

Cause of Death: Ruptured Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Dissection
Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Disease, History of Hypertension and Chronic Tobacco Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:26 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
