(L.A.) Jay Yang, 34, Died on the 60 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Asian male that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jay Yang. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Wong.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:05 a.m.

Unconfirmed, but the decedent appears to have been of Chinese, not Korean, descent.

California Highway Patrol announced that a person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in the Phillips Ranch area.

The crash was reported at around 10 a.m. near Phillips Ranch Road.
