(L.A.) Javier Reyes, 31, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Reyes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: Obesity

RIP JAVIER REYES (January 27, 1993 – February 9, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:47 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
