Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Peña.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
