(L.A.) Javier Pedraza Jr., 14, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 14-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the teen as Javier Pedraza Jr.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head and Neck

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:50 a.m.
The decedent was fatallly shot in a residential area of Cudahy next to the Los Angeles River.
L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting happened at around 12:19 a.m. in the 5000 block of Live Oak Street.
Deputies arrived at the location and found two male juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
