(L.A.) Jason Shields, 50, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Shields.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication
Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Schizoaffective Disorder, Alcohol Abuse and Methamphetamine Abuse

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:04 a.m.
In the same way that drug deaths are classified as accidental, alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
