(L.A.) Jason Leisring, 51, Died in Pearblossom

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a highway in Antelope Valley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Leisring.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

A motorcyle and a vehicle collided on Pearblossom Highway, near 141st Street East.

Witnesses called CHP at 1:57 p.m.

The pickup truck’s driver did not stop to render aid to the motorcyclist, turning the incident into a crime.

Pearblossom is an unincorporated community in the Antelope Valley of the Mojave Desert, in northern Los Angeles County. Palmdale is a nearby larger city that covers some surrounding areas, including roads and dirt roads near the location of the incident.
