(L.A.) Jared Macias, 23, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jared Macias.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Cerebrovascular Accident

Cause of Death B: Effects of Fentanyl

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
