(L.A.) Janet Terriquez, a Baby, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Janet Terriquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Intrauterine Fetal Demise

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:17 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.

Intrauterine fetal demise is the medical term for a stillbirth.

The “Other Significant Condition” field should read “Effects of Maternal Methamphetamine Use” but government employees are too stupid and lazy to get simple things like their primary job duties right.
