(L.A.) James Poteit, 68, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as James Poteit.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Methamphetamine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 7.
