(L.A.) James Mulder, 64, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Mulder.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JAMES MULDER (June 1, 1960 – April 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
