(L.A.) Jajuan Lucas, 46, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jajuan Lucas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP JAJUAN LUCAS (January 31, 1979 – March 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
