(L.A.) Caressa Stubbs, 39, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Caressa Stubbs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Other Significant Conditions: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy; Effects of Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine

RIP CARESSA STUBBS (February 8, 1986 – March 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:27 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
