(L.A.) Jaime Martinez, 38, Died From Drinking Too Much

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jaime Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Alcoholic Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy; Cirrhosis of the Liver; Chronic Alcoholism

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:24 p.m. ‘

This was acute alcohol poisoning.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
