(L.A.) Jacqueline Perez, 44, Died in El Monte

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a residence in El Monte.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jacqueline Perez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp Force Injuries

RIP JACQUELINE PEREZ (February 24, 1979 – October 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:15 p.m.

The decedent is believed to have been stabbed dead by her daughter Kimberly Gonzalez, 25 years of age.

El Monte Police Department officers were sent to the 11000 block of Ranchito Street at around 5 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Kimberly Monique Gonzalez was born on December 15, 1997. At the time of her arrest on October 22, she had blonde hair and green eyes. She stands 5 feet and 9 inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds.

She is being held on $2 million bail at the Century Regional Detention Facility.
