Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jacob Smith.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Jacob Smith” in public records.
