Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jacob McDonald.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP JACOB MCDONALD (August 26, 1973 – November 5, 2009)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:18 p.m.

The decedent had shot himself at around 9:50 pm.
