Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ivy Greene.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Septic Shock

Other Significant Conditions: Intraabdominal Abscess; Empyema; Decubitus Ulcers

RIP IVY GREENE (June 10, 1969 – January 29, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 20.
