(L.A.) Inmer Cruz Rosa, 23, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Inmer Cruz Rosa.

RIP INMER SAMUEL CRUZ (September 23, 1999 – April 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:59 p.m.

The accident happened o April 13 in South L.A. near the intersection of Main Street and 43rd Street.

LAPD said the victim was riding his bike westbound across Main Street when he was hit by a silver sedan traveling southbound. The driver then fled the scene in a 2008-2013 Mercedes Benz C230 or C330.

Inmer’s father, Leo Cruz, is pleading for the driver to come forward. He says he has no anger but wants the driver to do the right thing.

The decedent’s body will be repatriated to their family’s home country of El Salvador.
