(L.A.) Humberto Luciano Velazquez, 50, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Humberto Luciano Velazquez.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take five to eight months.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Federico Palacios and his age as 51.
