Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Honorio Angeles-Valencia.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Upper Gastrointestinal Bleed

Cause of Death B: Upper Esophageal Varices

Cause of Death C: Alcohol-Related Hepatic Cirrhosis

RIP HONORIO ANGELES-VALENCIA (November 7, 1979 – August 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:27 a.m.

The government investigator had initially identified the decedent as Juan Castro-Moreno, only updating the name on August 19.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner on the COD was published in October.
