Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred at a hotel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hector Ortega.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:36 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
